Wu Leichuan

Wu Leichuan (1870-1944) was a famous educationalist in modern China, Jacobinical thinker and famous literator at the end of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

He was born in Jiangsu Province. He had ever been the mayor of Hangzhou City after 1911. In 1925, he was a professor of Yanjing University. He was baptized in 1915 and began his Christian activity.

After the 1920s, his Christian thought converted to a special way. From 1922, he devoted himself to the combination of Christianism and Confucianism.
